In this course we will explore the elements of quality early childhood and school-age
environments. We will examine the Environment Rating Scales, a program assessment tool
required by the QRIS, and learn how to use it to assess your program environment and develop
program improvement plans. Join us to:
* Identify essential elements of a quality early learning or school-age environment
* Create interest areas that offer multiple opportunities for children to explore, discover, and grow
* Observe and assess your environment in the context of the appropriate Environment Rating Scale (infant, toddler,early childhood, school-age, or family child care)
* Learn how to complete the scoring of the ERS tool
* Understand how the Environment Rating Scales (ERS) help improve quality

Fee: $25; deadline is Friday, March 22nd. Registrations will be accepted after the deadline provided there is space still available.
