The Department of Early Education and Care is pleased to announce that the application process to apply to participate in the Peer Assistance and Coaching (PAC) project for the 2014-2015 school year is now open.
The focus of the Massachusetts PAC model is peer coaches, which define and enhance the peer-to-peer relationship to support individual educator growth and change. This type of peer coaching combines the promise of coaching as an effective strategy to improve quality and the reality that the existing early childhood teachers and directors may be well-equipped to support one another's practices.
Educators from the entire mixed-delivery system of early education and care programs, which includes center-based, family child care (FCC), FCC Systems, Head Start, and Afterschool and Out-of-School Time (ASOST) programs are eligible to apply.
