The Instructor is Elizabeth Hannigan.
Course description: Examines the etiology and symptomology of disabilities, including physical and psychiatric disabilities, modality deficits, and language-based learning disabilities. Students become familiar with legislation, social policies, diagnosis and treatment, as well as appropriate intervention strategies. This course is required of all Early Childhood Education and Human Services majors. Lecture: 3 hours per week.
Textbook costs are the responsibility of the student.
