Assessing Diverse Learners
A child’s language, culture, and ability have an important impact on the assessment process. Through this course you will gain skills and understanding for fairly and effectively assessing children who are diverse in terms of culture, language, and ability. To enhance your ability to assess diverse learners, the course will present and incorporate the principles of universal design for learning (UDL) as well as important information on first and second language learning.
Who can participate
Early Educators, including Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Family Child Care Providers, Directors and other administrators.
Credits
0.5 CEUs are available.

This is one event, consisting of two sessions.
To receive certificate and CEUs, educators must commit to attending both sessions.
