Course 1: Curriculum and Learning (QRIS Category 1): Coursework that supports educators working with school age children to develop curriculum and program activities that address students’ development of leadership skills.
Course 2: Workforce Qualifications and Professional Development (QRIS Categories 3 and 5): Coursework that supports program administrators and site coordinators working with school age children to address: staff development, Individualized Professional Development Plans (IPDP), supervision, and strategies for working with adults and school age children with and without disabilities.
Course 3: Family and Community Engagement (QRIS Category 4): Coursework that supports educators working with school age children to build and maintain partnerships with local public schools and community-based public and private agencies (such as museums and libraries); identify and share resources in the community; and involve families in children’s learning and program activities.
We will be hosting a Train-the-Trainer event for individuals who would like to be trained to facilitate the course(s) for CEUs onFriday, June 21 at Mass Bay Community College in Framingham. Please see attached flyer for details.
